Job shadowing/mirroring
Here our volunteers receive exposure to the world of work and pick up valuable work experiences. Professionals volunteer to host our volunteers for a few days or weeks and determine the rules of engagement. The volunteers are then debriefed and required to write a report about their experiences to share with other members. In this way they also build up their CV's to enhance their marketability.
Community Information Sessions
These are special information sessions organised by local community groups and as a rapid response by YoungPeople@Work volunteers to share information about our work as well as existing job/training opportunities to unemployed youth.
